CMS performed as the prime contractor to renovate 12 existing restrooms in buildings 5760, 5764, 5768, and 5771. Project scope included demolition and lead/asbestos abatement, rough plumbing, replacement of isolation valves and all plumbing fixtures, drywall, paint, LED lighting, ceramic tile, floating counter tops, restroom partitions, ADA handrails, and all restroom accessories. Because these buildings were high security and occupied during construction the renovations were phased, and all activities were closely coordinated with the Mission Assurance Security Officer. This project is 65% complete and in good standing. CMS Construction will be self-performing 25% of the contract value.
